Dana White gives Conor McGregor return update

UFC president Dana White has ruled out the prospect of fighting this December at UFC 245, card which is expected to feature three titles.

When asked by Barstool Sports’ Robbie Fox if ‘there’s a possibility we see Conor’, White replied: “No.”

When further pressed, the UFC chief softened his stance, saying: “I should never say never.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov return in the works

lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is hoping to make the third defence of his lightweight title early next year, his manager Rizvan Magomedov has claimed.

Nurmagomedov successfully defended the 155lb crown earlier this month in Abu Dhabi, where he retained his title with a third-round submission victory over Dustin Poirier.

And according to Magomedov, ‘The Eagle’ could return to action in the spring.

“Khabib’s next fight is being planned for March-April,” he told Russian news agency TASS.

Jon Jones drops fight hint

light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones has hinted an announcement for his next fight is imminent.

Alongside an Instagram picture of himself and his head coach Greg Jackson stretching on the mats, Jones wrote: “Keep calm and just stretch.

“The @UFC will tell you who’s ass you’re kicking next any day now.”
