McGregor retires from UFC – Will join WWE at WrestleMania!

The World got a shocking newz when Conor McGregor announced his retirement form MMA this morning.

“Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today. I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition,” he posted on Twitter.

“I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Coladas on me fellas!”

Khabib Nurmagomedov has responded to this tweet in a harsh way by saying “There can be only one king in the jungle,” he said accompanied with a ‘finger emoji’.

McGregor’s last fight ended in a devastating defeat to Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. The Dagestan phenom submitted him as he defended his UFC lightweight title.

UFC president Dana White has also shared his thoughts on McGregor’s retirement. He said “He has all the money to retire and enjoy the rest of his life”, he earned it.

“It totally makes sense. If I was him, I would retire too. He’s retiring from fighting, not from working. The whiskey will keep him busy, and I’m sure he has other things he’s working on”.

“He has been so fun to watch. He has accomplished incredible things in this sport. I am so happy for him, and I look forward to seeing him be as successful outside of the octagon as he was in it.”

McGregor To Appear in WrestleMania 35

The news is circulating in the entertainment world that Mcgregor will make his first ever WWE appearance at WrestleMania 35, just like Ronda Rousey did at WrestleMania 31

“If McGregor appears on WrestleMania then Vince McMahon has accomplished another goal.”
