FaceApp aging filter shows how you’ll look decades from now. Here are the best ‘old’ celebrities. – NJ.com

Just dying to know how you’ll look 20, 30 or 40 years from now?

FaceApp, the app known for a 2018 online craze inspired by its gender swap feature, is inspiring people to get a glimpse at what they might look like decades in the future.

The #AgeChallenge, which is pretty much the reverse of the Snapchat filter-driven “baby” trend from a few months ago, currently has a whole lot of people running their selfies through the app’s filter to meet their senior — or much older — selves.

Of course, this means that celebrities and star athletes have been doing the same. But when it comes to those famous faces who haven’t tried the app yet, the people of the internet have been more than obliged to do it for them.

This also means that a lot of people have been disregarding warnings about sharing their images as part of social media prompts and on apps that use facial recognition technology.

Without further ado, here are some of the best celebrity #AgeChallenge entries we’ve seen so far on social media.

First, here is “Old” Gordon Ramsay, “hosting #MasterChef Season 50″ (currently 52).

Next, check out Newark’s own Shaquille O’Neal.

“damn Ima be sexy when I’m old lol,” the NBA star, 47, posted on Instagram as the trend took off Tuesday night.

Here are “Jersey Shore” stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 33, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 31.

JWoww tried another photo, too.

Caption: “What my liver looks like after a month with my roomies.”

Not to be outdone, here are eligible bachelors Vinny Guadagnino (31) and Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio (39) from “Jersey Shore,” awaiting your caption. (Yes, they had their own MTV dating show, “Double Shot at Love with Vinny and Pauly D.”) Check the sick silver blowout!

Lil Nas X, 20, is breaking records with his song “Old Town Road,” but he may have also broken the internet with his #AgeChallenge.

“feeling cute might delete later,” he captioned the photo on Instagram.

Lakers icon LeBron James (34) … pictured here long-since retired.

Next is that good ol’ Rolling Stone Mick Jagger (currently 75).

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry (31) gave the app a whirl, too.

Here are actors Chris Hemsworth (35); Keanu Reeves (54); and Robert Downey Jr. (54) … though we’re not sure anything has touched that photo of Morgan Freeman (82).

But what about Giants quarterback Eli Manning (38)??

If we have Manning, we must also showcase Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (currently 41).

A fan suggested rapper Iggy Azalea (29) looked 80 in these aged photos.

“Who are we kidding, I’m white,” she replied. “We age like milk, this is me at 50.”

Tyrese (40) and Ludacris in “Fast & Furious 50,” the 41-year-old rapper and actor posted on Instagram. “And we still haven’t stopped at a gas station. Or for diapers.”

“Grandpa Wade huh,” said former Miami heat star Dwyane Wade (37) on Instagram, sharing a side-by-side photo comparison with his older self.

“Grandpa or Grandma?” singer Sam Smith, 27, captioned his entry on Instagram. “I’ll take both.”

Drake (32) was another celebrity who made his #AgeChallenge a caption contest.

Here is Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (currently 27).

UFC fighter Derek Brunson (now 35).

Turns out this didn’t work so well for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thanos.

Here’s actor and comedian Kevin Hart, who recently turned 40 years young.

Aging app? Quincy Jones (86) would like a word.
