Cris Cyborg to Join WWE or AEW
Former UFC Champion has shown her interest in joining the WWE or AEW, since she does not have a future here in the UFC. In an Interview she with the ESPN she showed her interest in retiring from UFC and joining wrestling for good.
Cyborg, whose real name is Cristiane Justino Venâncio, yesterday revealed that she will be testing the free-agent market after her next MMA fight, set to take place at UFC 240 against Felicia Spencer on July 27th.
The former Strikeforce and Invicta FC world champion has been making her presence felt in the wrestling world for the past few months, calling out the likes of Ronda Rousey & Becky Lynch on Twitter, and even visited the WWE Performance Center in January.
She was also present in the AEW PPV “Double or Nothing” which is showing her interest in the wrestling business.
In the interview with Helwani on Monday, she didn’t rule out a future in pro wrestling and even teased a potential dream match (which never happened in MMA) between herself & former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, saying:-
